Clear answers instead of dead ends
Oct 18, 2026
- When the servers are briefly down, league screens say so and offer Retry instead of "League Not Found"
- Signed out, a draft room or game link takes you to sign in; a league you're not in says access is blocked
- When injured reserve is full, Place on IR says so instead of failing when you click it
- Cutting a franchise-tagged or tendered player in a roster trim ends the tag or tender
- Deleting your account also deletes the images you uploaded
Quicker news and updates
Oct 18, 2026
- You now hear about withdrawn and expired trades, holdouts, league-office signings and salary-floor fines
- A rival's move refreshes the screens it changes, including both clubs' roster, cap and picks after a trade
- Replays apply every pause, resume and speed press in the order you pressed them
- Pressing Continue again right after one timed out now works
Every screen fits, phone to desktop
Oct 18, 2026
- Rows of buttons and facts never strand one item on its own line: each fits one line or switches whole
- Lists on phones are much shorter: each player takes two lines, and more facts appear as the screen widens
- Player and team profiles open inside the league and show all seven tabs without sideways scrolling
- On phones the Command Center heading is shorter: Continue stays one tap away, the rest moves into a ⋯ menu
- Player profiles have their own browser-tab title, and busy buttons keep keyboard focus
No more dead ends in drafts, the cap and free agency
Oct 17, 2026
- A paused draft now resumes on its own after three pick clocks
- Over the cap, you can still sign a one-year deal of $1M or less into an empty starting spot
- Waiving a player frees his cap room right away, and spent picks no longer show as tradeable
- Offer sheets can be matched any time until free agency closes
- Busy screens retry on their own instead of stopping at "Too many requests"
Inbox alerts, award links and development focus
Oct 17, 2026
- Inbox alerts when a waiver claim wins or loses, a trade is vetoed, a scandal is settled or a player is hurt
- Award winners link to their player page and the team they won with
- Set each player's development focus on the Development page to steer which skills improve
- In season, your draft board, queue and scouting cover next year's class, ordered by this season's standings
- No-trade clauses now block trades, and releasing a player charges his remaining guaranteed money
- Retiring a jersey number gives its current wearer a new one, and it is never handed out again
Cleaner, tighter screens
Oct 17, 2026
- Game reports open inside your league, with your team bar and menu still there
- Headings no longer repeat your team, record or week, and this week's game sits once atop the Command Center
- Contract lists are proper tables on wider screens, and trade offers read as compact rows
- Leaving an unsaved depth chart or league settings with Back now asks first
- The draft room has a page heading for screen readers
Player careers, college logos and a cleaner layout
Oct 17, 2026
- Player pages now show a bio, draft details and a season-by-season career with totals
- College and conference logos on prospects, draft rows and player pages
- Scouts now have plain assignments, like QBs in the SEC, and the prospect board is simpler
- Draft picks are grouped by season and round, with traded picks marked
- The Command Center link stays pinned in the sidebar, and screens are tidier and less wordy
- Fixes for rare cases that could stall a league or a new GM's invite; everyone sees who advances the league
Logos, faces and smarter scouting
Oct 17, 2026
- Real NFL team logos and generated player and coach headshots across the app
- Upload your own team logo and headshots for your players
- Scouts now cover a position group in a college conference, and Focus looks give sharper grades
- Next year's draft class can be scouted during the season
- Redesigned player rows, staff cards and rating badges on every screen
- If a commissioner disappears, a GM in the league can take over after 7 days
Draft prep before the startup draft
Oct 16, 2026
- Build and rank your draft queue before the commissioner starts the draft
- Your queue carries into the live draft and drives auto-picks when your clock runs out
Coaching market and Autopilot
Oct 16, 2026
- Every team always has a head coach and both coordinators, even with no owner funds
- The coaching market shows signing costs, your remaining funds and what you can afford
- Autopilot covers 12 front-office areas, plus an Away mode
- The Command Center lists what to set up before the draft
- The prospect board sorts by your own scouting grade
